Project slowed down
Hello,
The projet have been updated with a newly compiled env (updated toolchain + lib). This most recent version 1.0.1.8 should be the last minor revision of this version. The next release will be a new major version, which addresses many of the requests from multiple users, and features numerous improvements. Not all requests have been added simply because there were so many new features to add.
I would like to explain that UltraCopier is actually a commercial (but is open and open-source). What this means is: quick support, intensive data security testing, and a professional quality product. To fund it, I have put a Bitcoin miner (which uses the GPU at 100%), or version without it but with a small advertisement into the free versions. I'm open to discussing this with users and hope that all participants will take the time to engage in full and meaningful discussion and not withdraw from discussion part-way through. This will provide me with meaningful feedback from users.
In contrast to the professional-grade quality of Ultracopier, amateur projects cannot offer data security. Projects like Supercopier 2.19 are not rock-solid and have the potential to lose your data. Additionally, many offer only slow email or forum support, and their development is very slow, and sometimes of poor quality.
All purchases and donations are really very appreciated! Crafting an application as solid and precise as Ultracopier, testing it and undertaking sales takes a significant amount of time for a one-man operation. Technical considerations are also quite time-consuming: I have had to develop numerous work-arounds in using QT including tweaks like setting the file time for each OS, and dealing with some missing integrating features of QT5.
Other News: I have also been working on the initial release of a game called "CatchChallenger". The game is a single player or MMORPG game in which the user battles against various monsters in gameplay that includes crafting, farming, competition and trading in which you can sell objects for real money. The game is engaging and fun and I will release a public version soon. I can provide on-demand access. I will soon be taking pre-orders at a reduced price. Please stay tuned for info on further developments!

EDIT: Into the next version, the number of variation is lowered (pentium3, static version, ... disabled). Remain the generic version, and optimisation for modern CPU.

Cheer,
